Premier Lesson 7: Let’s Talk Money
Dear Valued Leaders,
Last week we talked about perspective and why it takes commitment to be successful. But you also have to develop your skills and ability, particularly in explaining how the plan works. In other words, how real people make real money.
It’s not about the ins-and-outs of the compensation plan (unless they ask). It’s about REAL world and REAL life. If you want people to see the opportunity before them with Waiora, then you have to use examples they can relate to. They need to be able see themselves in the picture.
The picture you paint should be vivid and yet simple to see. And what you put in it depends somewhat on the person you’re painting it for.
Are they product-focused? Is their primary interest in the business potential? Think of what your prospect is looking for and focus on their interests as you tell the compensation plan story.
Painting an attractive picture focused on the product.
Take this example:
“Tom, the payout on product is simple and brilliant. When I started, I just purchased Chava for myself and my family, and that alone qualified me to earn immediate commissions on any referrals. It was that simple.
I wasn’t trying to make money, but I found myself talking about Chava and people were interested. A lot of people already know about the benefits of dark chocolate and everyone loves the taste of Chava.
Even though I didn’t have much extra time, it was easy to ask people, “Do you like chocolate?” and nine out of 10 did. For anyone who wanted to know more and ordered Chava for themselves, I got paid $25 on every box.
It was a real surprise to get a check for $125 bucks that first month, and it practically covered the cost of my Chava. It really opened my eyes to the earning potential of the product.
That got me really excited about the potential residual income I could build. With the housing market in the tank and stock market fluctuating so much, it’s great to have extra income every month from customers and Members who love this chocolate. I’m certain there are big things ahead.”
And for those looking for a greater income potential, the picture gets bigger.
Here’s an example:
“Sue, I’ve been involved in Waiora for about three years, and I am earning a sizeable second income, without having a second job. But let me back up a bit.
When I first started, I placed an initial order for products to use at home and some to share. That qualified me for immediate commissions on those joining my team, and I was getting checks every two weeks. I was so excited during those first six months, I enrolled several people. I was earning checks anywhere from $57 to $568 dollars from the immediate pay out, plus I could earn bonuses every month.
Since then the team has grown and because people who joined did the same as I did, I now have a team across 19 states, with many people I had never known before Waiora. I still get those checks every two weeks but mostly I get a bigger residual income on the team monthly’s product use.
I even won a trip to Las Vegas as a reward for doing well in the business. You know, I was at ABC Corporation for nine years, and not only did I not win anything, but the only bonus they offered was a holiday bonus, and after the economy tanked, we don’t even get that anymore. With Waiora, I’ve built an income that lasts and pays me bonuses every month.”
What if you don’t have a personal compensation plan story to share?
If you’re new and don’t have a story yet you can still do this. Just share someone else’s story as an example while your story develops!
Here’s how this works:
“Tom, I’m brand new at this, but let me tell you about Jack who I’ve just gotten to know. He’s a plumber and only works his Waiora business part time. He started by buying products for him and his wife. That qualified him to earn commissions and a bonus right away. In fact, from his first enrollment he earned almost $500.
Since then he has seen his team grow to 46 members over the last 6 months. And he earns residuals on everyone’s reorder of product. His monthly check is the equivalent of what he would earn on interest of $120,000 in the bank. That’s how powerful this plan is, and he’s going to teach me how to do the exact same thing. I’m so excited I’ve lost sleep over it!”
You need to be able to show that money can be made on every level, but you DON’T need to make it complicated. While there are multiple ways to earn income with Waiora, you don’t have to know all of them. You earn on them whether you understand them or not.
The plan is designed with your highest earning potential in mind. You just have to focus on the activity, and the money will follow. Aim high and teach your teams to do the same, because anything is possible.
To your continued success,

P.S. Stay tuned for next week’s lesson to learn how to get someone started as part of our Six Keys Premier Training series from now through Freedom U.
