Premier Lesson 6: Keeping Perspective

Comments Off

Dear Valued Leaders,

I recognize some of you or some of your teams may have questions about the cost of giving away Chava, because let’s face it, there are costs. On the other hand, think of what it will cost if you don’t take the time to share Chava, the cost of lost opportunity.

Numbers Don’t Lie

Chocolate is big business, a $100 billion dollar business worldwide, with $18 billion in the US alone and growing. Driven by more than 1,200 studies focused on its health benefits, premium dark chocolate is 20% of that market and the fastest growth. Recession or not, people eat chocolate. In fact 9 out of 10 love it, and Chava Vital Chocolate represents a breakthrough in health and taste.

This is a Very Real Opportunity

If you want a piece, any piece, large or small, of this market you have to invest in yourself and your dreams. There is no real business that does not have “some” cost associated with it. Think about it, if anyone could make money without any risk or investment, then wouldn’t everyone be rich? The important thing is to make sure the return on your investment is rewarding.

Chava is your primary tool to make this happen. Alone it’s powerful enough to propel you to the next level, and beyond that, it acts as a gateway to NCD, AgariGold, waiFIT and the rest of our stellar health solutions. But you have to share it, which means you have to buy it.

Let’s say you are passing out a box of Chava each month, you are looking at as little as $115 wholesale for those 90 squares. Most of you have a goal to earn from $5,000 a month or as much as $100,000 dollars a year with this opportunity. And many of you have your sights set considerably higher and will in fact earn incomes that allow you to change financial stations in life.

So aren’t your personal goals and dreams worth a modest investment of time and resources?

Put Things in Perspective

Let me briefly share with you my own experience in this regard. When I was introduced to network marketing, like most I did not have extra money lying around to work with. In fact that was part of my interest; I wasn’t satisfied with where I was going financially. That being said, regardless of my financial situation I knew from education and experience that in order to get a return on effort, you have to commit time and money (even if both are limited).

Now I know I’m dating myself, but back then we built a business by handing out audio cassettes to share our story. I could buy them in quantity for about $1 dollar apiece. At the time, I was not in the best financial situation. As a matter of fact, I actually had to borrow money to place my first order, but I KNEW the key to better finances was the cassettes and lots of them.

It was not easy and I was not very good at it. And it was nothing like Chava, where all you have to do is ask someone, “Do you like chocolate?” and nine out of 10 say “yes.”  The love of chocolate far exceeds the love people had for those cassettes.

Needless to say, my first years were filled with stumbles and falls, but I constantly picked myself up and did my best to note what did work, and keep repeating it. The nice thing about our business is that every day, you can start fresh.

So here is what I did.

I stretched, pulled and tugged at my money and was able to establish a $300 monthly marketing budget. I vowed that no matter what, I was going to share 100 cassettes per month, however I could. The rest of the budget was for postage and incidentals. I was committed to investing the $300 regardless of my check. And I didn’t allow myself an out. I didn’t say, well I’m going to do this until this or that happens. I was just going to do it “until.”

My belief was (and still is) that I had a better chance of creating my future this way than anything else I could have invested that money in. Better than real estate. Better than the stock market. And as it turns out it was. Much can be attributed to the fact that I never gave up.

You have to buy in to the reality that it is necessary to invest in yourself and your business if you want to see real success. It’s not complicated – it’s just a commitment. And the results that come from consistently following your plan, with urgency, are worth that commitment.

I am convinced that anyone who is so bold as to commit to this opportunity and their dreams is destined to win!

To your continued success,

Eddie Signature
